Getting Here
Namo Buddha Resort is situated 45 km south-east of Kathmandu, approximately two hours by car.
BY CAR
To reach us from Kathmandu, head towards Bhaktapur and Banepa, continuing to Dhulikhel (approximately 23 km). When you reach Dhulikhel, turn right to take the paved Sindhuli-Highway and continue for 8 km to reach Kavre Bhanjyang. Turn right onto the Namo Buddha Road, you will be on this road for approximately 4.5 km. After passing Phulbari village, a few hundreds metres to the left, the entrance to our carpark is clearly sign-posted ‘Namo Buddha Resort’.

BY BUS FROM KATHMANDU
If you are feeling adventurous and happy to be on the local buses, board any bus to Banepa from Ratna Park Bus Station. Once you arrive, ask for the next bus to Namo Buddha which will take roughly 2 hours.

BY WALKING FROM DHULIKHEL
Many people enjoy trekking here from Dhulikhel. It is a suitable walk for all ages. The journey takes about 3 to 5 hours according to fitness levels. We offer to opportunity to hire our local guide, who will meet you in Dhulikhel and together you will trek to the resort. On request, we can provide a packed lunch.
From Dhulikhel, make your way to Kali Temple via 1000 steps (ask locals for directions). Trek downhill for 20 mins to Kavre Bhanjyang (a junction). Cross BP Koirala Highway (main road), use the trail through the pine forest for 20 mins, until you reach Phaskot village. Walk through, follow the road until you get to Chisupani village where you will see a stupa and a school. Continue on the trail for about 10 minutes until you reach the telephone tower in Phulbari village. Follow the trail for another 20 minutes and you will see the sign-post for Namo Buddha Resort.
At any point you can ask local people for directions as the above mentioned villages are well known in the area.
